About Emily

Emily grew up on a farm outside of Forest City, Iowa with her older sister, Elise. After high school, she moved to Rochester to attend the local junior college and play volleyball. She earned her associate's degree and continued her education at the University of Northern Iowa, majoring in public relations. After graduating, Emily returned to Rochester in the Spring of 2017 to join us!

Emily has always had a passion and skill for writing and knew that she wanted a career based in word-smithing. At CWS, she holds the role of Content Creator and is very involved in a majority of client projects and all of CWS' marketing efforts. Through the years, she has enjoyed mastering SEO strategy, inbound marketing, and HubSpot's CMS.

In her free time, Emily enjoys teaching STRONG at local athletic clubs, practicing guitar, reading historical fiction, and spending time with her boyfriend and kitty.
